The Bioprospecting Program, which is currently in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 accreditation, is supervised by a Quality Council constituted by the General Coordination, a Representative of the Head Office, Administrative Coordination, and Technical Coordination.

This Council has the responsibility of ensuring compliance with the Quality Policy, which was established based upon the Instituto Nacional de Biodiversidad's Mission.
